My Creative Process with Cosmetic Allure

I have recently made a video of my creative process with how I came up with my images for my BFA project. I posted it on my YouTube Channel and I will of course post it here as well. I am definitely not a pro on making videos and I wish I had my camera over head in the video. So if I ever make any videos similar to this one then I think I will have to look into an over head tripod or something. Let me know what you think about this little video, my first attempt at sharing my creative ideas.

In today’s day and age, makeup has become a trendy topic, from hundreds of different makeup brands to beauty gurus creating tutorials on YouTube. It doesn’t matter what gender you are; people love to play around with cosmetics. Artists can get creative with makeup, whether it’s on a face or on a piece of paper, creating art, even if it’s only for a moment. Numerous times, makeup can be found in advertisements where a model is used, or simply the product itself. When makeup is creatively taken apart and photographed, it can show the fun pigments that can be used to express oneself. This type of photography can be found in magazines, websites, and in stores. Makeup that has been broken-down tends to look more abstract in terms of how it is presented, and that is no different with Cosmetic Allure. Taking makeup as the medium to create abstract modern art was the approach the artist took with this project.
